TERMS & CONDITIONS
Binding Membership: Membership is binding for a whole season. There can only be written cancellation of the membership or a change to non-binding membership in the first month that is paid for. After the first month membership cancellation is NOT possible.
Non-Binding Membership: Membership cancellation or change in amount of classes is possible in the first month and with 14 days notice before the 1st of the month in which the member wishes to stop.
Changing which specific class you attend is allowed as long as it is not full and not practicing for the end-of-season show. There is a fee of 50 Kr, but free if you have unlimited membership.
In the case of documented travel, a member can be exempted from payment for the period exceeding 2 weeks outside of Hotstepper holiday periods.
Membership payment can be put on hold in the case of valid hospital/doctor documentation for injury or serious sickness that prevents dance activity for more than 2 weeks outside of our holiday periods - the maximum period is one month at a time. Payment can not be stopped until doucumentation is provided.
The request to cancel or put membership on hold has to be in writing via form available at Hotstepper or via email: Important to keep your receipt if via Hotstepper form. If via email, it is important to get confirmation of accepted request. Hotstepper does not accept cancellation or putting membership on hold if there is a lack of valid documentation or the request is not in accordance with our terms and conditions. For example a binding membership can not be cancelled after the first month.
UPDATING PERSONAL INFO
It is the responsibility of the member, or parent/guardian if under 18 years, to inform us of updates in member data such as contact information or payment details.
First membership payment can be paid cash or via mobile pay at the school - or bank transfer to:

Payment after the first month is automatic via PBS or credit card the first of every month.
Holidays and public holidays are included in the prices.
It is permitted to change class in the season as long as places are available.
Paid amounts can not be refunded.
Membership subscription is to be paid the 1st in every month. Late payment fee is 100 Kr.
There can be price adjustments if enrollment is in the middle of a month, if membership has been put on hold.
If under 18, parent/guardian is accountable for outstanding payments.
The season is 9 months and 3 weeks: 15/08/2016 - 28/05/2017
School and public holidays are included in the subscrition prices. So each month is the same price.
Autumn 17/10/16 - 21/10/16
Christmas 19/12/16 - 03/01/17
Winter 13/02/17 - 17/02/17
Easter 10/04/17 - 17/04/17
END-OF-SEASON SHOW: is in may. 85 Kr is automatcically paid via the PBS subscrption service. There can be extra costs
for clothing and costume that students wear for the show.
SUBSTITUTES: Professional dancers get booked for jobs, tours and travel abroad for dance courses and competitions. Those are
the conditions in the dance industry. If a teacher cancels, Hotstepper will find a substitute.
VIDEO & FOTO FOOTAGE: is sometimes recorded at classes, events and shows. Footage can be used by Hotstepper for
example print, online, advertising or PR.
KIDS CLASSES: can be watched at the trial lesson, and in the end of the last class in a month every month until February.
